This painting presents a tranquil coastal landscape, suffused with light and openness.  
This painting captures a coastal vista filled with light, air, and a sense of expansive space. 
The composition leads the eye diagonally from the rocky, grass-fringed foreground out towards a pale, sweeping bay and the distant headlands beyond. The shoreline curves gently, opening the view to a luminous horizon. Soft washes of turquoise, aqua, and sandy ochre describe the sea and beach, while the foreground is enlivened with swift, gestural marks in greens, blues, and greys, suggesting windswept grasses clinging to the rocks. 
The sky is a commanding presence, painted in shifting tones of pale turquoise and muted grey, carrying the weight of atmosphere while also bathing the landscape below in diffuse light. The brushwork is loose and fluid, creating a balance between abstraction and observation: the scene feels both rooted in place and alive with painterly freedom. 
There is a mood of openness and clarity here, yet also a touch of transience—like a fleeting glimpse of coastal light before it shifts again. The painting suggests not just the geography of a shoreline but the sensation of standing there, absorbing the vastness of sea, air, and horizon.
